Working with children

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) service is funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and can offer a range of supports for children (aged 0-6 years) with developmental delay or disability and their families.

The types of supports that can be provided through ECEI include:

  1. Information
  2. Referral to mainstream or community services
  3. Looking at what is needed to achieve the goals set by parents and their children
  4. Short term help to make sure kids are doing well in their early education setting
  5. Where required, assistance to access funded support through the NDIS

Our service can work with children of all ages who live in NSW and have a disability or a developmental delay which is the result of an impairment and causes substantial functional limitations. We work very closely with their caregiver and provide therapeutic services.  The SSP has been found to have significant gains in the development of children with disabilities.

SSP and co-regulation from family helps 1st grader increase awareness and emotional regulation

With over 25 years of experience across a wide range of services, working primarily with complex trauma and complex need, working with individuals and families from all ages, cultures, and other diversities, we understand the needs of marginalized, isolated, vulnerable groups of people in the community.  We strive to break the barriers that stop access to quality services.
